Director - Football Leadership Institute
The Football Leadership Institute will educate students in the academic and entrepreneurial aspects of sport by offering a range of courses for those seeking to draw on the expertise and skills of leaders in the field. The first two programmes to be launched will be a pre-university course and an Executive Education course which will take place during July and August 2022. A range of further academic and experiential programmes will be developed in the future.
City Football Leadership Institute now seeks to appoint a Director who will lead and manage the Institute through its debut on the world stage and inaugural year’s programmes and beyond. The Director will work closely with BrandEd, CFG and the Institute’s Senior Advisers to develop the profile, team and programmes and to promote the Institute to potential students
The ideal candidates will:
• Demonstrate experience of successfully building and managing teams within an educational setting
• Be confident in promoting high-profile brand in a variety of scenarios
• Demonstrate a passion and entrepreneurial enthusiasm for the Institute
• Have experience of building programmes (whether academic, experimental or otherwise), and familiarity with sports management education (ideally football)
• Be experienced in ensuring EDI is embedded in an organization and business ethos
• Combine relevant educational experience with an entrepreneurial approach and an enthusiasm for being part of a commercial venture
• Be flexible and adaptable to working within a start-up.
