Synergies for Success: Making Education Groups Work

We are delighted to announce the publication of our 34th report, Synergies for Success, which considers the benefits and opportunities in education for being part of a group. Drawing a wide range of organisations and educational charities and businesses, the report includes interviews with BrandEd founder Michael Chung and Oxford International Education Group CEO Lil Bremermann-Richard. Dr Nigel Genders CBE, MAT CEOS Ian Young and Liz West and Professor Maurits van Rooijen share their experiences of expanding groups within a region, nationally and globally and Antony Spencer explores the growth of Mill Hill, one of a growing number of independent schools which has merged with other schools. VTCT Skills Deputy CEO Ashley Barnes shares the educational journey of the technical and vocational exam board.

Editors Amy Wevill and Edward Wild commented:

“This report is the third we have published on the theme of education groups but provides the most varied range of perspectives and insights on the subject. All contributors explore their journeys and those of the organisations they have led, and in a number of cases, established. We are immensely grateful to them for to their time and to VTCT Skills who have supported the project. We hope it will be widely enjoyed and inspired others to establish or grow their own groups.”
