The Director of Conservation and Estates is a newly created role. They will report to, and work closely with, the Chief Executive and will be focused on building a strategic capital programme for the site as well as having day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the historic estate, managing a team and working with volunteers as appropriate. They will also manage an associated budget and manage medium and longer term strategy, planning and associated issues in relation to the estate and conservation and costs, health and safety and fire safety on site. They will work and manage both the relevant Charterhouse teams and contractors as required.
