Nick Major - senior advisEr, Agriculture & Farming
Nick Major is a Harper Adams graduate and brings extensive experience in executive and non-executive board roles in the agricultural sector. He spent his executive career working for international feed company, ForFarmers, in a number of sales, marketing and general management roles. In his final role as Corporate Affairs Director, he was responsible for developing and implementing ForFarmers’ sustainability strategy.
Nick is past Chairman of the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) and former President of FEFAC, the European Feed Manufacturers Federation. He currently sits on the Board of Red Tractor as Poultry Sector Chair and has previous experience in Agri-Tech as Interim Chair and Non-Executive Director of CIEL Livestock, the UK livestock Agri-tech centre and as Board Chair of the Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Liveryman and member of the Court of the Worshipful Company of Farmers.
As a Senior Adviser at Wild Search he works with the team on a range of searches across the agricultural and land-based sectors and related membership bodies. Nick lives in rural Suffolk.
