The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Chair 10 January 2025
Following an extensive search, the trustees of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal have appointed Sir Edward Braham as their Chair. In addition to this pro bono role, Sir Edward chairs M&G and is a non executive member of HM Treasury. He is a former Senior Partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. We wish him all success in the role during the months ahead. The focus for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal this year will be the two charities MQ Mental Health and Homewards.

Appointment of Chair, Church Buildings Council
We recently completed a wide ranging search for the Church of England which has resulted in the appointment of Novelette Aldoni-Stewart to chair the Church Buildings Council. We wish her well as she takes up the role.
This search was one of a number of recent assignments for heritage and conservation based organisations, including The Charterhouse, The Churches Conservation Trust and the Heritage of London Trust. To discuss in confidence an upcoming appointment – executive or non executive – please contact our Managing Director Edward Wild by email: engage@wildsearch.org or call us on 0207 233 2230.
