Since 2010, Wild Search has advised boards and executive teams on key appointments ranging from chair and board members to executive directors in functional areas of commercial, philanthropy, finance, HR/people and operations roles. Our sector experience is broad and deep, spanning commercial education providers in the UK and internationally through national membership bodies to more local and regional charities.
Our founder, Edward Wild, has worked in executive search since 2004, for three businesses and led the formation of Wild Search in 2010. Throughout that time his focus has been on education (commercial, investor supported groups and non profit), charities and membership bodies. He has worked with a wide range of candidates in preparing for engaging with our clients and boards and has also written extensively on how to establish and develop a portfolio career. This experience has been complemented by his time serving on boards and committees for a broad range of organisations.
Edward works closely with Amy Wevill, who has been part of the Wild Search team since 2011 and whose experience outside Wild Search has encompassed Chatham House and the University of Oxford, where she has organised international conferences on global issues and has brought her into contact with an extensive network of sector leaders.
Since 2010, many candidates, clients and board members have sought our advice beyond individual search assignments. To reflect this demand we now offer a tailored leadership and career advisory service for individuals navigating career transitions, preparing for board appointments, developing portfolio careers or considering their next executive role.
