Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Wild Search is firmly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and to promoting an organisational culture and processes that values difference at every opportunity.

We see diversity as an enabler of new perspectives, creativity and innovation and improved productivity and output. It is also increasingly a benchmark against which organisations are judged both by those who work with them and, critically, by those who may consider working for them (or joining their boards).

Delivering demographic, cultural and cognitive diversity not only benefits organisational culture and delivery of core aims; but also those who work within an organisation. We work hard to secure both the most diverse field of suitably qualified and experienced candidates for each vacancy and to avoid any discrimination, whether on the basis of ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, educational background or disability.

Applying these principles to the recruitment process ensures that each candidate is given a fair opportunity to set out their strengths and suitability for any role. Similarly, the language used in advertising and candidate briefs is carefully considered to ensure that it is inclusive. This extends to ensuring that the requirements of all roles are clearly articulated and that any which are not essential and may deter a more diverse field, are avoided.

Our published reports on themes relevant to diversity and inclusion in Higher Education (edited by Dr Wendy Piatt), Advancing Autism and Leading Women reflect our wider commitment to promoting opportunities for senior roles and organisations which we serve. Wild Search is also a member of the Equality Register.

If this approach aligns with that of your organisation, please contact us to see how we can work together.
