Clive Aslet
Director, Wild Research

Clive is an award-winning author, journalist and authority on British Life. He is Editor-at-Large of Country Life, a magazine that he has worked on since 1977, being Editor for 13 years. He has toured Britain both for Country Life and books such as Landmarks of Britain and Villages of Britain. He has published three books, An Exuberant Catalogue of Dreams, which reveals the Americans who are behind the survival of many of Britain's country houses, and a novel, The Birdcage (2014), was published alongside Strands of History: Northbank Revealed (2014). The latter was commissioned by the Northbank BID and explores the identity of the Northbank area.

Clive is a trustee of Plantlife International and co-founder of the Remember WW1 Campaign which encouraged mass participation in events to remember the centenary of the First World War.

Clive is currently working on a forthcoming Wild Research book for the Victoria BID to be published in March 2018.
