Anna read English at Oxford, graduating with a First in 2015. After graduation she worked for a communications agency with clients in the renewable energy and financial services sectors, while volunteering part time on the Calais ‘Jungle’ camp in France.
Moving to the Syrian border in Jordan in 2016, she recently delivered a full-time English teacher training programme to Syrian teachers in Azraq and Za’atari refugee camps. She has contributed to the Huffington Post and has worked in an orphanage in Haiti and as a women’s officer for Global Hope in Jordan. Anna returned to the UK in 2017 to study for a masters at University College London, in Education, Gender and International Development, alongside her work at Wild Search.
